Formosa Covers?

Has anyone used the "Formosa" brand of covers for their Sportsmobile? I am looking for a cover and this one seems like it will fit and is a resonable price. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Formosa Covers?

I bought one last month. It came in a nice carry bag which I have not opened yet. My plan for Sunday is to get the rig ready for the winter rains. Was hoping to use it a couple more times before the rains set in but it turns out I only have two open weekends between now and he new year.

Will post photos and commentary on Sunday.

Formosa Covers?

Fall showed up today. It was raining so did not get the cover put on. Now need to wait for a couple of dry days before I can get it on and take some pictures.

Re: Formosa Covers?

I have had one for the last few years and it is worth the money and fits well. I have an EB with aluminess bumpers and the large conversion van cover fits well.

Re: Formosa Covers?

I beat the rain today and got my Formosa cover installed. It is construction of some light material that reminds me a little of Tyvek but is some other breathable material. It came in a nice storage bag and was neatly folded up. Not sure that I will ever it back in the bag as neatly because it is huge. It was easy to install and tighten down.

There are no tie downs in the front but there is elastic at the front of the cover. The cover is so large that it hangs on the ground. I see that as a good thing as it will allow me to put the top up to work on the inside this winter without removing the cover.

There are built in straps in the back the can be pulled to tighten the cover on the van. The bulge on the righthand side is my spare tie.

There are zippers on both sides that allow you to open the front doors. There are also zippers on the back so that you can open the rear barn doors.

The fabric appears to be waterproof as the rain started beading up. It will be interesting to see if water still beads up at the end of the rainy season.
