Aluminess Ladder Favor needed

I just got my new passenger side ladder and just tried mounting it. I need a favor.

It seems that the rain gutter curves to the back and both screws on the left clamp will not grab. If I move it to the right then the ladder covers the porch light and also is over the bushwacker flair.

Does anyone have photos or can take some close up photos of the ladder on a RB?

I would like to see a photo perpendicular to the side of the van to see where to place it. A close up of the top where each clamp connects to the rain gutter.

thanks in advance.

steve

Jeffery's ladder is on an RB, can't recall which side but you might check his gallery.

Steve,

Let me know if you want a close up of the Gutter on an EB, if that makes a difference.

You will soon know the joy of climbing up and down the penthouse top with ease! Good Luck

Steve
My ladder came today and fit great, but its an EB. I did have to loosen up the upper bolts on the clamps to get a good fit. Thanks again for organizing this buy.

Hello Steve,

I have the same exact problem. I may move the porch light down as far as I can to see if the ladder will clear it. I'm also looking for a smaller profile light.
before I bought the ladder I was thinking that light would be a problem and now I know.

Hello Steve,

My wife called SMB West today to ask about our problem with the ladder. I don't know who she spoke with but they said that a ladder cannot be mounted on the passenger side of an RB if the porch lite is there.
I'm still going to try and find a lower profile light and mount it as low as I can while still covering the existing holes of the current light.
